Guided tours of the museum’s exhibitions

We offer guided tours for groups both inside the museum and of the Varberg fortress.

Fortress tours

The history of Varberg Fortress takes you on a journey from medieval power struggles to the 17th century fortress construction and the 19th century prison era. On the journey through several centuries, we tell about leading events and human fates that have had an impact on Halland’s history. The tour takes about 60 minutes and is outdoors. From 6 years.

21/8-1/10 Saturdays and Sundays at 14.00 in Swedish.
