We offer tours of the museum and exhibitions to the public. You can also book your own tour together with your group.
Fortress tours
The history of Varberg Fortress takes you on a journey from medieval power struggles to the 17th century fortress construction and the 19th century prison era. On the journey through several centuries, we tell about leading events and human fates that have had an impact on Halland’s history. The tour takes about 60 minutes and is outdoors. From 6 years.
Fees tours
120 SEK for adults, 60 SEK for 6-19 years.
Group bookings
We accept group bookings. Maximum 15 people for tours in the museum and at the fortress.
Fee for groups is 1200 SEK plus for each participant: 100 SEK fo adults, 60 SEK 6-19 years.
